Description
Sonor Real Drums is a sampled drum kit created to offer great realism in any style or midi file. The pack contains 3 drum kits: SR Drums 1, SR Drums 2, and SR Drums LOW.
Sonor Real Drums has snares mapped at 6 velocity layers with first 3 velocity layers mapped linearly, while the other three are mapped non-linearly. Because of this, a simple +5 or -5 change of snare velocity in the style triggers different snare samples which creates a subtle difference in snare articulation. This very much contributes to the realism of a drum kit.
It should be noted that the style or midi file drum track which uses the Sonor Real Drums should be programmed in such a way in order to utilize all velocity layers, otherwise the results may vary and often be underwhelming.
